"Happy CNY!"
My Sister's Keeper is adapted into a film due in 2009. Oh my god.
As hyped as I am to watch the film adaptation, I strongly object to Alec Baldwin playing Campbell Alexander. I want a young Tom Hanks to be Campbell Alexander. I don't know why but everytime I read a book with a good-looking, professional, witty man I think of Tom Hanks. I blame it on him acting in You've Got Mail. Campbell's bond with his dog, Judge is very much like Joe's bond with his dog Brinkley in You've Got Mail. Don't get me started on the way they talk. I think his constant arguing with Meg Ryan did the job. It's a lot like how Campbell and Julia fight in My Sister's Keeper. Like a couple. And that's why:
I strongly object to
Joan Cusack playing Julia Romano too. I want a
young Meg Ryan to be Julia Romano.
Sidetrack: Is Joan Cusack related to John Cusack? And Julia Romano. Christy Carlson Romano. Romano. Haha.
Back on track: Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks play a much better couple as proven in
Sleepless in Seattle and
You've Got Mail. But more to
You've Got Mail. And Julia used to be Miss Independant of her school and dyed her hair
pink. Meg Ryan showed she can be by voicing the independant Anya in
Anastasia. And seriously, Joan Cusack doesn't look like a chick Jesse Fitzgerald would hit on.
Watch You've Got Mail and read My Sister's Keeper.
