To tell you the truth, I don't know what to begin with. How Nadia and I died of boredom in the morning? How Hidayat and gang declared me a dumb-dumb? Or how terrible I did on stage? I think I'll start with how Nadia and I died of boredom in the morning.
I kept forgetting that PRCS is the only school that had no school. It slipped my mind that I would be at home with only my maid. I met Nadia at McDonald's and we, actually only I, bought lunch there and brought it back home. I think I'm going to lay off McDonald's for a month; eat healthy, Maliah. Anyway, we ended up watching one YouTube video and then a whole channel of it.
It's not romantic at all but downright funny!
It rained. Heavily. Not only me, but many wanted the parade to go on. After all the effort they put in for it, they can't cancel the parade. It's not ethical. It rained, not too heavily, but the parade, thank god, went on. Inevitably, the hall performance began.
I did a terrible job on stage.
I repeated the name "Tan Raelin Meridyn".
When I introduced piano piece, the curtain caught behind me.
When the curtain caught behind me, I panicked and didn't talk slowly at all. I needed to talk slowly to buy time for the piano to be moved out. But I didn't.
When I introduced Farreha for her speech, I introduced her as the "Top GCE 'O' Level music student".
When I ended the evening, I thought the mic didn't work but I babbled on anyway.
I knew I couldn't say my part without messing up and I ended up looking down at my card everytime; what Dr Ong specifically told me not to do.
Hidayat came to stand next to me at the end to support me; My Adik can read me like a book. When we went down, the school didn't look like a school at all. Breathtakingly beautiful, that's the only way to name it. Speaking of beautiful, boy did Vanessa and Charmaine look pretty!
I couldn't take any picture; my cam is not functioning anymore. The pity. I shared the Nadia's cam and I will update with it when I can. I'm concentrating on my MYE now. I need to get the top 10% in 3/5! Maybe even in the level. But for now, Nadia! When are you going to come online?
I've got a huge, painful lump in my throat. I'm aching from head to toe. I'm dead beat.
