A/N: I'm moving to my blog at Tumblr now but I'm not going to delete my old blog at Blogger. It's got a priceless value and I'll leave it here for me, you and anybody who would want to read it in future.

Ate my mom's deli chilli crab. Mmm! I'm finally going to blog. God, how I miss blogging. FRIDAY, 16/10/09: SANDY AND CHARMAINE'S BIRTHDAY PARTY I think the fact that I was going to go out for both Friday and Saturday really hyped me until I couldn't concentrate that much on my Food and Nutrition exam. All I could think about was Hei Sushi and the party and going jalan raya. I don't think Food and Nutrition's going to have a 100% F9 now. I sat next to Christina and it was torture. She was the only one in the whole class that wrote on every side of the paper. Kiss goodbye to getting "Top in Food and Nutrition", Maliah. Did you know? There were people giving out bibles in the morning at the front and back gate. I have nothing against Christianity but a multi-racial and religious school is definitely not the time and place to give out bibles. I think I can't get too hyped about anything because in the end it would suck. Like how I forgot to bring my keys and couldn't change before going to Hei Sushi for the $15 per head buffet with 29126. But when I went for the buffet, still in my school uniform (I gave up sitting in front of the lift waiting for somebody to come home), it was totally worth it. You know how sushi usually isn't halal? Hei Sushi is Singapore's first halal sushi restaurant! Conveniently, it's at Downtown East. I wasn't that daring like Nadia and Flo and ate the safe-looking sushi. I love the fried hotate and tempura. I tried the California Roll but mayo and rice is definitely not a good combination. We had mochi-mochi too (small ice cream in jelly)! Lychee and Peach flavoured. Don't try it if you have sensitive teeth though, it's really cold. After finally changing (I called my dad just to make sure somebody's at home), I met up with Nadia and we went to T1 to window shop. Wani went with Illiany, Curry and Ain to watch 500 Days of Summer. I wanted to watch that show until a lot of people wanted to watch it too and I thought, "Forget it, lah". I don't know why but it's ok for me if a group of people like something but I hate it when a lot, like, a lot of people like something. I also don't know why nobody would agree with me when I say that Zooey Deschanel and Katy Perry look alike. THEN NADIA, WANI AND I WENT TO SANDY & CHARMAINE'S BIRTHDAY PARTY. The invitation card was so cute, I had to scan it. The journey to Changi Green had been really fun. We were at the interchange waiting at the pathetic 5 lane. We were very hyped up and kept making fun of each other and pushing each other on the grass patch. This very pretty primary school girl who didn't look like a primary school girl at all (we learned later her name was Abigail) in front of us was watching us the whole time and laughed along with us. She even helped us find our way to Changi Green. Sweet girl. Charmaine and Happy! "I'm 20 but I look 15! Wanna know what's my secret to looking young? Don't smoke!" 1. The girl who worked very hard to make Sandy and Charmaine's birthday party a success. 2. The birthday girls, Sandy and Charmaine! Both of them went to Bugis before the party to shop for their outfit. Very pop art, I I didn't get to enjoy it that much since I helped Melissa buy the charcoal and stuff and had to leave early in the end. But I don't really regret it. If I didn't help, Melissa would be the only one working. We should really give her credit; she didn't want to trouble Sandy and Charmaine since it's their party anyway. Sandy and Charmaine tried really hard to make everybody feel at home too. Did I mention that Sandy cooks the best stingray? SATURDAY, 17/10/09: JALAN RAYA WITH 29126 It had been much more relaxed than when we went jalan raya with 2/7'08. We had much less houses to complete and we weren't in any hurry anyway. At Illiany's house we watched an Indon drama and it reminded me a lot of my auntie's maid because I couldn't understand a word they were saying. At one part when the couple confessed to each other how much they loved each other, they went into a room and Nadia said: "Oh my god! Are they going to have sex now?". And no, they had a candlelight dinner. We made it a point to watch the Singapore Idol re-run at 5.45PM. I'm rooting for Sylvia and Sezairi. But I can just melt when I see Faizal Isa, especially during the MJ tribute! Faizal Isa. So nice to say the name. And why is everybody's mom and little brother so cute? Curry's little brother, Khairil. Isn't he so good-looking? He's got long eyelashes too! They can't be separated. At my house, they tried to run on my treadmill in the balcony. To quote Nadia, "they had faces of pure joy". Saturated in sunlight. Look at Curry lying comfortably on everybody. So cute! Illiany, Curry and Nisa are so cute, can? Very much like the man train the guys in my class would make. Overall, I had fun on both Friday and Saturday. :) |
